Medallion Day

This annual event is a big event on the Bushypark calendar as it recognises people who are in recovery for a year or more and who come back to the centre to receive a medallion in recognition of this achievement. It is very much a family day also where clients are supported by family members and fellow members of their aftercare groups. It is a big day for our facilitators who support clients through the aftercare groups on a weekly basis and also for staff who have supported clients and family members in the early stages of their recovery and are able to celebrate with them on this annual occasion.
